Our Story
Phnix Fire was forged where innovation meets wildfire urgency. Drawing on the proven, off-grid suppression experience of HotShot FPS, including real-world deployments during the 2018 Woolsey Fire, we paired hard-earned field lessons with proven expertise. The result is a next-generation wildfire defense platform grounded in expertise in GPS-denied environments, autonomous sensing, and high-reliability systems.
While “GPS denial” may sound like a military concern, similar conditions occur during major wildfire events, when smoke, ash, and fire can disrupt satellite signals, cellular networks, and electrical power. That is exactly when conventional alert systems struggle, and why Phnix Fire is designed to keep operating when infrastructure fails.
